I’m a Nashville girl who loves stories, celebrations, and leading my people toward lives rooted in hope. Not until I experienced devastating heartbreak did I start to lean radically, daily, on our Living Hope, Jesus. Not until I journeyed through grief did I learn the power we have to choose joy in any and every circumstance. Nothing is perfect or easy here. But I’d love for you to join me on this marvelous and messy adventure we call life.

LEMONS ON FRIDAY

At age 27, I became a wife. At age 28, I became a widow. Lemons on Friday is my story. In it I pull back the curtain on the years of grief following my husband Ben’s tragic passing, and how in grappling with the loss, I learned to lean on an immoveable God. Lemons on Friday speaks to all who must carry on with life and take a hard look at faith, when things have not gone as planned.

My message with the pod? Life is tough and it can leave us feeling pretty broken at times. But you don’t have to LIVE broken. You can intentionally choose joy even when life has knocked you down. So I grabbed some pretty special friends and I’m asking them how THEY pursue joy in their everyday lives – so we can all find ways to live in joy today.
